Week 2: Holy Week and Days of Cold

Last week was Holy Week wherein people with a Catholic faith will observe certain restrictions such as fasting and abstinence to make sacrifices just like Jesus Christ did. People flocked into churches and several vacation spots as several days were made holidays because of this. As a deist, I was somewhat forced into going into a church last Friday and did the Stations of the Cross. Then, we went to a resort in Laguna to beat the summer heat by swimming for a few hours. As I finished, I saw the resorts restaurant and ordered 2 decadent slices of blueberry cheesecake and it was good. Very reasonable for the price. During that day, y cold was now starting and when I was swimming, I would sneeze for 3 consecutive times at a time. The following day, I had to wear a face mask at the hospital as I already had a full blown cold complete with the sneezing and the nose part. I still have a cold; however, I do not sneeze as much as I did anymore but there is still a discharge from my nose. So much for having a cold in the middle of the summer.
